Digital & Social Media Manager
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Digital Content & Social Media Manager based in Lagos. The role involves managing and implementing content strategies across various digital platforms and social media channels. Daily tasks include planning and creating engaging content, overseeing social media optimization (SMO), managing audience interactions, and analyzing performance metrics to inform strategy. The manager will lead efforts to amplify GIA's mission, increase community engagement, and expand the organization's digital presence.
Qualifications

Proficiency or experience in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to enhance online presence and engagement

Strong Writing and Communication skills with experience crafting engaging and impactful digital content

Experience in developing and implementing effective Content Strategies tailored to diverse audiences

Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and adapt to a dynamic and innovative space

Knowledge of the gaming industry and passion for African storytelling and creative advancements is highly advantageous

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered

2D Artist and Animator
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a 2D Artist, located in Lagos. The 2D Artist will collaborate with game developers and designers to create high-quality 2D assets, including characters, environments, and UI designs for digital games. The responsibilities include designing, developing, and optimizing visuals for game projects, ensuring aesthetics and technical requirements align. The artist will work within an agile team environment, contributing creative input and executing on artistic direction effectively.
Qualifications

Proficiency in 2D art creation and experience with tools like Blender

Experience in Game Development and Game Design processes

Understanding of design elements specific to Digital Games
